Rhondda Dayton - Flute
Rhondda Dayton is currently Principal Flute with the Westlake Village Symphony Orchestra, Moorpark Symphony Orchestra, Gold Coast Wind Ensemble, 5-Star Theatricals pit orchestra, and the Ventura County Gilbert and Sullivan Repertory Company. Rhondda has been a featured soloist with several Southern California orchestras including two premieres of concertos that were written for her by Terence Minogue (California Places) and Barry Brisk (Concerto for Flute and Alto Flute). She is the founder of Pipe Dream Flutes ensemble, which has played commissioned works at National Flute Conventions as well as performances in the US and Vienna, Austria. Rhondda has also toured with various orchestras in the US and Europe that included world premieres.
