Beth Pflueger - Flutist
A native of central Ohio, Bethany Pflueger Is an active musician in the southern California area. As a flutist she has played with numerous regional orchestra and chamber groups, and currently serves as principal flute with the Peninsula Symphony. In 2005 she earned a Grammy award for a recording with the Southwest Chamber Ensemble.
As a conductor, Ms. Pflueger’s positions include conducting eight full operas with Opera Pasadena, and conducting the Glendale College Orchestra for ten years Since 2013 she has been the Conductor of the Pasadena Community Orchestra.
As an educator, Ms. Pflueger is the Music Department Chair and Assistant Division Chair at Glendale College, where she teaches Harmony and Musicianship courses and directs the Applied Music and Chamber Music programs.
